UPSSSC PET is the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission Preliminary Eligibility Test. It is a state level examination conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) to determine the eligibility of candidates for various Group 'C' posts in the state. The candidate must have completed at least High School 10th. Candidates who have completed their High School/ Class 10th or any other similar type of degree are fully eligible to appear for UPSSSC PET Exam 2023. UPSSSC conducts PET as an eligibility test for various Group C posts. PET Scorecard will be valid for a period of 1 year. UPSSSC PET 2023 Steps to Fill Online Form

Step 2: Proceed to Candidate Registration.
Step 3: Click on “Apply for PRELIMINARY ELIGIBILITY TEST (PET) 07-Exam/2023".
Step 4: Complete your registration if you are a new user. Read all the details and accept the declaration.
Step 5: Enter your personal information like Name, Date of Birth and qualification details, etc. to complete the registration.
Step 6: Proceed to upload all the required documents like your latest photograph and clear signature in format, format must be (5kb to 30kb in .jpe/jpeg/jpg).
Step 7: Submit your form by filling all details and pay the fee complete your application process.

UPSSSC PET 2023 Eligibility Criteria (Age, Educational, Nationality)

Those who score well in UPSSSC PET 2023 will be called for the upcoming Group 'B & C' Main Examinations for specific posts. UPSSSC PET 2023 Exam Pattern

UPSSSC PET Exam Pattern 2023 in English
- The exam will be offline.
- PET – The preliminary exam will be of 100 marks/ questions.
- Duration of Exam: 02 Hours (120 Minutes).
- The difficulty level of the questions related to the academic subjects marked at serial number 01 to 09 will be of the secondary/senior secondary level prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT).
- The type of examination will be objective in nature and the question paper will be based on multiple choice questions.
- Negative Marking: 1/4 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
UPSSSC PET Salary, PayScale, Perks, Benefits
It has been told in the official notification that the PET exam will be conducted for those posts, whose salary will be as follows
- Pay Scale 1 (5200-20200) Grade pay 1900/- and below
- Pay Scale 2 (9300-34800) Grade Pay 4600/-.
Apart from the basic, there are various perks associated with the posts as well like DA, HRA, travelling allowance, etc. as well, which takes the in-hand salary from Rs 25000 to Rs 37000 initially depending on the post.
