Revised Exam Pattern 2022
The exam will be now held for 160 marks which was earlier conducted for 100 marks. The candidates who will be attending the SSC GD Constable must also know that they will have to attempt the CBE within 60 minutes and with a negative marking of 0.50 marks. SSC GD Constable Exam Pattern will consist of 4 sections. In the exam there will be a total of 80 questions that will be asked for 160 marks and each section will have 20 questions. The Candidate must check out SSC GD Constable Syllabus and give their preparation a boost as the exam dates are out.

SSC GD Constable PST - Physical Standards Test
The PST PMT qualifiers will be contacted to schedule the medical examination. Candidates who do not pass the medical test will not get considered for the position. Students’ documents will also get verified. Below are the specifics of the medical examination. By now, the candidates should be familiar with the SSC GD Syllabus 2023 and Exam Pattern. To stay ahead of the competition, candidates should prepare with the official syllabus and exam schedule.

SSC GD Constable PET (Physical Efficiency Test) :-
The candidates who clear the PST will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test. In this stage, both the male and female candidates will be put to a test. The board will test if they’re fit enough for the post by conducting a running race. The details of the test are as follows.
SSC GD Constable Medical Test
The Medical Examination conducted as part of the SSC GD medical test is the final stage in the SSC GD Constable exam selection process. It is conducted for applicants who have qualified the Computer Based Exam as well as the SSC GD PET and PST exams. The medical test will basically evaluate the candidate for medical fitness and their suitability for the tough on-ground duties of the force. The SSC GD Medical exam constitutes a Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and a Review Medical Examination (RME). All selected candidates are bound to appear for the SSC GD DME, while the RME is for the candidates who wish to appear for a reevaluation.
General Duty Constable posts:
- Visual Standards: The candidates must have a visual acuity of no less than 6/9 in the worse eye. Visual correction of any kind is not permitted.
- Hearing Standards: This medical test will include hearing tests and examination of the ear drums. They will also be checked for any extent of deafness, discharge, hearing deficit, or any other condition.
- Dental Examination: Candidates will be examined for any loss/decay of teeth and whether he/she has sufficient number of teeth for mastication. A thorough examination of the gums will also take place.
- Examination on Standing: In this examination, the board will evaluate the candidate for normal functioning of the head, neck, chest wall, and upper extremities from fingers to shoulder joints.
- Examination of Lower Extremities: Both the lower limbs are examined from toes upwards along with the test for flat feet, bow legs, hammer toe and other deviations.
SSC GD Constable Review Medical Examination (RME) 2022-23
Candidates who are declared “Unfit” during the SSC GD Medical test or DME are allowed to appear for the Review Medical Examination (RME). Such candidates will be required to give a duly signed intimation, indicating their reasons for being unfit. In the RME, candidates will be examined for the very deficiency for which they had been declared unfit in the DME. In most cases, this test will be conducted on the next day of the Detailed Medical Test.
Document Verification for Detailed Medical Examination 2022-23
At the time of the Detailed Medical Examination, candidates will be required to carry the following documents for verification:
- Matriculation or Class 10th Secondary Examination Certificate
- Domicile Certificate or Permanent Resident Certificate issued by a competent authority
- National Cadet Core (NCC) Certificate
- Certificate from serving defense personnel in the prescribed format
- Undertaking in the prescribed format (for Ex-Servicemen candidates)
- Caste Certificate (as applicable) in the prescribed format for candidates seeking reservation/age relaxation.
- Certificate from candidates who wish to avail relaxation in height/chest measurement in the prescribed format
- Certificate from District Collector/District Magistrate (if applicable)
- Nativity/Identity Certificate (applicable for West Pakistani Refugee) in the prescribed format
